About PMS & hospitality software
What is a hotel PMS?
A hotel property management system (PMS) is software that runs a property's daily operations — reservations, check-in/check-out, room inventory, housekeeping, billing, and reporting — from one place instead of paper registers or spreadsheets. FlamifyIn is a cloud PMS built for hotels, PGs, resorts, and hostels in India.
What's the difference between a PMS and a channel manager?
A PMS manages a property's internal operations — bookings, front desk, housekeeping, billing. A channel manager syncs room availability and rates across external booking platforms like OTAs. FlamifyIn covers internal operations and direct/invite-link bookings; it does not include OTA channel management today.
Do small hotels and PGs need a PMS?
Any property handling more than a handful of bookings a month benefits from one — mainly to prevent double bookings, reconcile payments correctly, and keep GST-compliant records without re-entering data by hand. Many small hotels and PGs only switch after a double-booking or billing error forces the issue.
What features should a hotel PMS have?
At minimum: a booking calendar with real-time availability, guest and payment records tied to each booking, housekeeping status tracking, and GST-compliant invoicing. FlamifyIn also adds staff attendance (HRMS), multi-property switching, and, for restaurants and banquet operators, POS, kitchen display, and function scheduling in the same login.
Is a cloud-based PMS better than an on-premise one for small properties?
For small and mid-size properties, cloud PMS avoids buying and maintaining on-site servers, and updates roll out automatically. The trade-off is that it depends on the property having a dependable internet connection — worth confirming before switching if connectivity is inconsistent.
Product & features
Does the software work with a thermal printer I already own?
Yes — FlamifyIn's restaurant POS works with any standard USB thermal printer, plus cash drawers and Android tablets. No proprietary hardware to buy. See restaurant features.
Is GST invoicing automatic?
Yes — on FlamifyIn, GST is calculated and applied automatically on every hotel booking and every restaurant order, based on the rates you configure, with an invoice generated per transaction.
Can I manage multiple properties from one login?
Yes — FlamifyIn lets you switch between hotels, PGs, resorts, and restaurants from a single login, with consolidated cash flow and revenue-by-source reporting across all of them.
Is banquet and event management included?
Yes — FlamifyIn includes function scheduling, plate-wise menu planning, room block management for out-of-town guests, vendor assignment, and per-function or consolidated billing. See banquet features.
Is staff attendance and HR management included?
Yes — FlamifyIn includes QR-based attendance, staff directories, department organisation, leave management, and role-based access control, all built into the same platform. See hotel features.
Pricing & billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a 30-day free trial is available on monthly plans. Quarterly and annual plans do not include a trial period.
Do the listed prices include GST?
No — all FlamifyIn prices are exclusive of GST, which is added at checkout, same as any other invoice.
Are there any per-transaction or per-booking fees?
Never. Your subscription is the whole bill — process one booking or a thousand, the price doesn't change.
I run both a hotel and a restaurant — do I need two subscriptions?
Yes — one plan from the hotel/PMS pricing and one from the restaurant/RMS pricing. Both properties are still managed from the same FlamifyIn login.
What does yearly billing save me?
Two months free on every plan — pay for 10 months, use the software for all 12.
Can I change plans later?
Anytime, from your billing settings. Moving up takes effect immediately; moving down takes effect at your next renewal.
See the full plan comparison on the pricing page.
